About the Founder
EcoFi was founded by Adrian Slater.
Adrian’s passion for business began at the age of 6, answering and directing customer phone calls at his dad’s business which was listed on BRW’s Top 500 Private Companies.
At school his favourite subjects were maths and business studies. However, Adrian differs to many accountants having a creative flare that translates into innovative business solutions.
At the end of year 12 Adrian was offered a cadetship at a Big 4 accounting firm.
Upon becoming a Chartered Accountant Adrian took the right of passage many Australians do and moved to London. In London Adrian had to choose between working with Goldman Sachs or King.com, an 18-month-old start-up. Adrian’s love of innovative businesses shone through and he chose King.com. He could see the potential of King.com and today it is a billion-dollar company.
Adrian also saw the value in working with well established businesses to round out his experience and has worked with listed businesses, including Yahoo! and Louis Vuitton.
